Artemis Aerospace is looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor or manager who has worked in the aviation industry. They will be working alongside our warehouse manager and operations director taking joint responsibility for establishing a brand new logistics operation in West Sussex. Candidates should be confident about their skills, be very professional at all times, and be able to make decisions and take responsibility for day to day logistics, operations and quality management. IT literacy and numeracy are a must.

The role is based at our new warehouse location close to our head office at Wiston.

Job Specification

Day to day duties include:

  • Receiving, unpacking, packing and shipping
  • Inspection of aircraft parts and associated certification
  • Working to and maintaining Artemis’ high-quality standards
  • Booking couriers and communicating with courier personnel
  • Using a forklift – training can be provided if required
  • Communicating and liaising with the sales and admin team
  • Assigning duties and delegating to team members to keep the warehouse running smoothly

 

Communication with aviation professionals is a key part of this role including working with our sales managers on large volume orders and individual special projects. Candidates who display ambition and ability will have opportunities for progression as the business continues to expand and develop its global reach.

Normal working hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday

28 days holiday per annum

NEST pension contributions

Starting salary between £35-£38k depending on candidate’s experience.
