Warehouse Assistant/Sales Support Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to learn a variety of new skills in the aviation industry, in a role combining warehouse duties and office-based sales admin, working in a team across two sites in the Partridge Green area.

Artemis is a long-established supplier of aircraft components. Customers include global market leaders in aircraft leasing and flight simulation. As the aviation industry bounces back from the impact of the pandemic, Artemis’ business is preparing to significantly expand. For anyone who works hard, wants to learn new and varied skills and be part of a team of professionals who put customer service at the forefront of everything they do, this is an exciting opportunity.

We are looking for someone to work part of the week supporting our warehouse manager with day to day duties to include:

  • Goods receipt and despatch
  • Picking and packing components
  • Driving between our two sites to support the management of our remote store
  • The use of a forklift (training to be provided)
  • Providing some out of hours AOG cover

This role will combine with sales support duties, which will include:

  • Supporting our sales team as they provide our world-class customer service to our global customer base
  • Responding to requests for quotes from the industry’s on-line marketplaces
  • Supporting the development of sales and purchasing strategies
  • Maintaining research on the current market values of components

Suitable candidates will be open-minded and keen to learn new skills in two different areas of the business. They will be given training on all aspects of the job, so no previous experience is required.

They must have:

  • Literacy, numeracy, and computer skills to compose emails and to respond professionally to customers and suppliers alike
  • A willingness to take responsibility and a wish to become a key player within in a small team
  • Good communication skills by email and phone
  • A valid UK driving license

The stores assistant/sales support administrator will be offered a competitive salary working a 37.5 hour week with 28 days holiday including all bank holidays.

Forklift and health & safety training will be provided, as well as all in-house training required for working with our IT systems.
