Due to internal promotion, we now have a vacancy for a junior account manager to work in our busy flight training and simulation support department.
We are looking for candidates with drive who thrive on delivering outstanding service to customers who are leaders in their field. Candidates will learn about specific traits which are unique to the flight training and simulation market, but must have aviation industry experience as described below:
- At least 6 months aftermarket experience
- A flair for customer service
- Experience with purchasing
- Excellent email and verbal communication skills
- Accurate administrator
- Team player
- Ability to think and respond quickly
The junior account manager will report to the Global Sales Director, Simulation Support and will eventually have an account executive reporting to them.
Job Specification
Our simulation department is growing rapidly and supports global market leaders in the supply of aftermarket components for their flight training devices. As the Global Sales Director focuses on business and product development, the junior account manager will take on the day-to-day managing of our key accounts with duties which include:
- Sourcing suitable components, including hard-to-find parts
- Providing alternative solutions to OEM services
- Pricing and quoting
- Procurement
- Corresponding with both local and international customers
- Working with our MRO manager on timely and cost-effective component repairs
- Taking briefs from customers relating to forthcoming projects
- Occasionally attending trade shows
